There is something magical about the sound of water. Our café is beautifully situated right by the river and the rushing waterfall. It was here our journey began as the first real barista café in South Greenland, created from the dream of uniting magnificent nature with modern coffee culture. Although we are part of a larger family today, the place has preserved its very own soul. It is here locals meet over the town’s – perhaps the coast’s – best soft serve, and where you can sit for hours letting your thoughts flow with the river.
When hunger strikes, we offer comfort food that warms the soul. Our signature is the popular musk ox burger, a local classic that tastes of the wild nature around us. But no trip to the river is complete without dessert. We are known across the island for our soft serve and old-fashioned waffle ice cream. There is something special about enjoying a cold ice cream while looking out at the mountain, whether the sun is shining or the fog is dancing over the water.
We utilize our unique location to the fullest. Do you need to feel the warmth deep in your bones? Then try our sauna barrel standing right down by the river. Here, there is no artificial wellness music – only the soothing sound of the rippling water and nature’s own silence. And you can experience Greenland’s first cold plunge and hot tub. But it doesn’t stop here – we also have our terrace with the most beautiful view and South Greenland’s only outdoor shower. Here, we sauna gus and freeze!
